There is a particular kind of beauty that never announces itself, and in Geneva that understated elegance is practically a local language. A lash lift speaks it fluently. Rather than gluing anything onto your lashes, it works with what nature already gave you, lifting and curling your own lashes into an open, wide-awake shape that lasts for weeks. In our studio, we specialise in exactly this: the natural lash, elevated. That single-minded focus is what sets our results apart.
What exactly is a lash lift?
A lash lift is a semi-permanent treatment that curls your natural lashes upward from the root. Using a soft silicone shield placed along the eyelid, your lashes are gently lifted and set into a graceful curve with a sequence of cosmetic solutions. The effect makes your lashes look longer, fuller and beautifully open — as though you had just used an eyelash curler, except the result holds for weeks rather than hours.
It is a treatment built on optical cleverness. By redirecting each lash upward, we reveal more of the eyelid, visually enlarge the eye and catch more light around the lash line. Nothing is added, nothing is stuck on. Your lashes remain entirely yours — simply shown at their best.
Lash lift versus extensions: which is right for you?
This is the question we hear most, and the honest answer is that it depends on your life, not on fashion.
Lash extensions involve bonding synthetic fibres to your natural lashes, one by one, to create dramatic length and volume. The look is bold and glamorous, but it asks for commitment: infills every two to three weeks, careful cleansing, and a degree of daily caution.
A lash lift adds nothing at all. It celebrates the lashes you already have. It suits you especially well if you:
- want a natural, barely-there enhancement rather than an obvious "done" look;
- have neither the time nor the appetite for frequent maintenance;
- already have decent lashes that simply grow straight or point downward;
- lead an active, sporty or outdoor life, or swim regularly;
- want to enhance your eyes without a heavy commitment.
If your heart is set on maximum, unmistakable volume, extensions still win. But for a fresh, low-effort, "your-eyes-but-better" result, a lash lift is hard to beat.
The treatment, step by step
A lash lift takes roughly 45 to 60 minutes, during which you lie back comfortably with your eyes closed. Here is how we work:
- Consultation and assessment. We study the length, direction and density of your lashes to select the shield size and curl that will flatter your particular eye shape.
- Cleansing. Your lashes are thoroughly degreased so the solutions can grip evenly.
- Shield placement. A silicone shield is fixed along each eyelid. Its size dictates the intensity of the curl — the more rounded the shield, the more pronounced the lift.
- Lash positioning. Each lash is combed upward and set against the shield in perfect alignment. This is the most painstaking stage, and the one that truly determines the quality of the finish.
- First solution (the lifting step). This softens the lash structure so it can take on its new shape.
- Second solution (the setting step). This locks in the curl and makes it last.
- Tint (optional). Many clients add a tint at this point to darken and visually lengthen the lashes, particularly the pale tips.
- Nourish and reveal. A conditioning treatment is applied, the shields are removed, and you meet your new gaze in the mirror.
The Korean Lash Lift explained
Not all lifts are created equal. The Korean Lash Lift is a refined evolution of the classic method, drawing on techniques developed in South Korea. Instead of a single shield that lifts every lash as one block, we work with multiple small rods or segments that isolate the lashes into little groups.
The difference is visible. The curl is more defined, more "fluffy", the lashes are better separated, and the overall look reads as denser and more textured — rather like the effect of a volumising mascara. Because it demands more time and precision, it carries a slightly higher price. We especially recommend it for clients who want a highly defined finish, or whose lashes are fine and closely spaced.
The Lash Lift Rescue, meanwhile, is a corrective treatment. If a lift has gone wrong elsewhere — lashes left brittle, over-curled, frizzy or damaged by an overly aggressive application — this protocol focuses on repairing, calming and rebalancing the lash with targeted nourishing care before any new lift is even considered.
The benefits of a lifted lash
- You wake up ready — no eyelash curler, no mascara routine each morning.
- You reclaim time every single day, week after week.
- A natural effect that no one can quite name but everyone seems to notice.
- No heavy upkeep — there are no infills to schedule.
- Complete comfort — there is nothing to feel and nothing to carry.
- Full compatibility with an active life, sport and swimming (once the initial window has passed).
Who is it for?
A lash lift suits the vast majority of lashes, provided they are long enough to wrap around the shield. It is ideal for straight or downward-pointing lashes, but equally lovely for adding lift to lashes that are already pleasant. If your lashes are very short or sparse, we will talk it through during your assessment so we can set realistic expectations or guide you toward the best option.
Longevity and aftercare
A lash lift generally lasts 6 to 8 weeks, in step with your lashes' natural growth cycle. The curl then fades softly and gradually, with no awkward regrowth line.
The first 24 hours are decisive. During this window the curl is still setting, so a few rules matter:
- No contact with water for 24 hours — no water on the face, no steam, no heavy tears.
- No sauna, steam room or swimming pool.
- No eye make-up, no mascara, no oily cleansers.
- Do not rub or pinch the lashes.
After that, to make the result last: sleep on your back for the first few nights if you can, brush your lashes gently, and apply a nourishing keratin- or oil-based serum regularly. Keep rich, oily products away from the immediate lash line.

Frequently asked questions
Does a lash lift damage the natural lashes?
Performed correctly, with the right processing times and healthy lashes to begin with, no. That is precisely why the technician's mastery matters so much.
How long does the result last?
Between 6 and 8 weeks on average, depending on your natural growth cycle.
Is it painful?
Not at all. Your eyes stay closed throughout, and most clients relax deeply — some even doze off.
Can I wear make-up afterwards?
Yes, but only after the first 24 hours. Once that window passes, mascara and make-up are fine — though you may find them almost unnecessary.
What is the difference with the Korean Lash Lift?
The Korean Lash Lift uses several small rods rather than a single shield, giving a more defined, denser curl and a more pronounced "fluffy" effect.
Can I wear contact lenses?
We recommend removing them before the treatment and putting them back in once your appointment is finished.
How often should I repeat it?
As soon as the curl begins to relax, roughly every 6 to 8 weeks.
What if my last lift went badly?
That is exactly what the Lash Lift Rescue is for: to repair, nourish and rebalance before you consider a fresh lift with confidence.
